about

A universal prayer, in reality for all humanity, not just the specific ones mentioned.

lyrics

There’s something inside of me, that feels all alone.
I’m in a room with all, the people I know.
God tell me how, I fill this hole, inside my soul.

All men are hungry, power, success or bread
Illness, famine, drought, the wars and death
A father risks his life for a handful of rice
Just to feed his family and extend their life
On our soil here we throw away food, letting the water flood
Things that seem so simple, but instead we take advantage of
To help heal our soul this prayer is implanted, with a wish to not take all for granted
So we spread the love that fills our needs and we sit together in harmony
Have you ever asked a man with a million seeds to walk with you through the endless weeds, well you should
We ask for peace for the land of Ethiopia, give them food and rest. We ask for love and tenderness for South Africa, give them hope and compassion for one another. We ask for safety and stillness for Afghanistan, give the women work and education. We ask for a love epidemic to spread through the greenness of Colombia. We ask that the soldiers stay home with their families and nurture them instead of heading to Iraq. We ask for a calmness and the nourishment and medicines needed to sustain all people in genuine need. We ask that ignorance by many is simply overcome by traveling to a developing nation and helping. We ask that negative media is diminished and that peace organizations around the world take lead. We ask that you teach your children and grandchildren about other young ones around the world, so that they may grow up understanding how fortunate they are. We pray, in the name of all gods, saints, spirits, moons, suns, stars, mother earth, angles and protectors that just as we shall not judge a book by its cover nor shall we judge an entire race by its government. Love, does cure all.
